Grief Ministry

Motto:  Providing compassionate care for those experiencing grief.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Mission Statement:  The mission of the Grief Ministry Team is to be a source of compassionate care, providing emotional and spiritual support to those who are experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Hope Ministry

Meeting Date:  1st Thursday of each Month @ 7:00 p.m.  

Location: Fellowship Hall

Motto: Helping Our People Spiritually through providing supports , and knowledge about resources and guidance on how to reach financial stability and restoration during difficult times. 

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11

Mission Statement: Our goal is to partner with Zion Rest members experiencing long term difficulties for the purpose of restoring hope, and to respond to crisis in the community.  This will be done by offering resources and sharing Christian principles.

Prison Ministry

Meeting Time: 2nd Sundays, 2:00 p.m.

Motto: From Bondage to Freedom

Scripture:  John 8:36

Mission Statement: To lead those incarcerated to true freedom.

Substance Use Ministry

Motto:  Steps From Self Bondage to Serenity

Scripture:  2 Corinthians 5:17  

Mission Statement:  To serve as a team that provides informational resources, education, and guidance services for our congregation, community, family, and friends.

Transportation Request

To attend our Sunday services, call (512) 892-8880, Monday – Thursday, to provide us your personal information (name, phone number, and location of where to pick you up). Requests should be made at least 24-48 hours in advance of expected date of attendance.
