Culinary Ministry

Motto: Bless the food before us, the families beside us and the love between us.

Mission Statement: We are fed by the WORD of GOD and work continuously to feed his people. We strive not only to feed the body, but the heart, mind and soul of each individual who sit at the table in the presence of God.

Deaconess Ministry

Motto:  Supporting Spouses in Spiritual Service.

Scripture: I Timothy 3:11

Mission Statement: To be spiritually devout women honoring God while supporting their husbands’ biblical offices and being an example before the flock.

Deacon Ministry

Meeting Time:  2nd Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. in Morgan Building

Motto:  Supporting the Pastor and Serving the People.

Scripture: Acts 6:3 & 1 Timothy 3:8-10

Mission Statement:  Providing service to God through supporting the Pastor, auxiliaries of the church, as well as the congregation’s physical needs.

Marriage Support Ministry

Meeting Time:  4th Fridays at 7:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall

Motto: Marriage – God’s plan, God’s Way.

Scripture: Mark 10:9

Mission Statement: To provide a ministry that will assist the ”married members” in building stronger marriages: by praying, learning, reaffirming, sharing, encouraging, supporting and committing to God’s biblical plan for marriage.

Other Events:  

Love Fest each year celebrating Valentine’s Day

“Date Night Out” and other special movie fellowships.

Music Ministry

Meeting Time: Choir Rehearsals, Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.  (Assigned Praise Team on Mondays at 7:00 p.m.)

Motto: Glorifying God in Worship through Song.

Scripture: Psalms 100:1 “Serve the Lord with gladness”

Mission Statement:  To “Make a Joyful noise unto the Lord” through Song.

Nurses Ministry

Meeting Time:  Every other month on 1st Saturday, 2:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall.

Motto:  God’s servants caring for God’s people

Scripture:  Matthew 25:34-36

Mission Statement:  To render temporary emergency assistance and care to anyone in the church congregation who may experience a medical distress. 

Pastor’s Aid Committee

Motto:  Providing Positive Support for our Pastor

Scripture:  1 Timothy 5:17

Mission Statement: To encourage through prayer, lovingly motivate with care, and support with a heart like God’s.

Ushers Ministry

Meeting Time: Last Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m., Fellowship Hall

Motto:  Serving as Spiritual Doorkeepers

Scripture: Psalms 84:10

Mission Statement:  To be Dedicated Doorkeepers joyfully serving in God’s House

Wedding Ministry

Motto:  A holy ceremony for spiritual matrimony

Scripture: Ephesians 5:31-32

Mission Statement:  Providing a ceremony of holiness resembling the love relationship between Christ and his bride, the church.
